Recipe for Home made naan

Naan is traditionally cooked in a clay oven or “tandoor.”
We can make Naan in a regular home oven too.

Ingredients:
    • 4 cups of All Purpose flour (Plain flour or maida)
    • 1 Teaspoon salt
    • 1 Teaspoon sugar
    • 1 Teaspoon baking soda
    • 2 tablespoons of oil
    • 8 Oz lukewarm water
    • 1 Egg
    • 8 Oz of Milk 


Method:
    1. Whisk Milk, egg and water.
    2. Add sugar, salt and baking soda to the flour and mix well.
    3. Add the mixture to it.
    4. Knead until the dough is smooth and add oil from the top.
    5. Cover the dough and keep in a warm place for 1 hour. 
    6. The dough should fermit 
    7. Make small buns and then roll on a smooth service to a 4-5 inches in size.
    8. Pre-Heat the oven to 400 degrees 
    9. Take a non-stick sheet pan and place the rolled flat bread on it.
    10. close the door of the oven.

The Naan should be ready in 4-5 mins.  Ready to be served.

Option:
 
You can put clarified butter, basil oil, Olive oil etc from the Top.

The naan can be served with kebab, any curries, lentil or used as a starter.
